Your slip is your entry. No slip, no seat — which kills the lurker who reads the room and claims he had it after.
Timer
You set the window. Nobody sees a running tally while it runs, so the first ten votes can't write the rest.
Reveal
At zero every slip opens simultaneously. Nothing is editable, nothing is withdrawable, everything is timestamped.
Dispersion
Where the room clustered, where it split, and which minority turned out to be right. That's the product.
A visible tally anchors every late vote to the early ones. Sealed slips let the room's actual belief show up as dispersion, not consensus theater. The gap between what people believed and what they thought everybody else believed is the only interesting number on the page.
Not a pick service
We don't hand you a play. We hand you the room reading the play.
Not a leaderboard
Win-rate rankings reward volume and cowardice. We rank by minority hits.
Not a chatroom
There's no group DM writing everyone's slip in real time. Slips are sealed on entry.
BOS at MIA opens with a 30-minute clock. Twelve people file slips. The room can't see any of them. At tip-off the clock hits zero and every slip lands at once.
- Cluster: 9 slips took BOS -3.5. The room agreed.
- Spread: confidence ran 0.48 to 0.83. The room agreed on side, not on strength.
- Minority: 3 slips took MIA +3.5. Two of them landed at confidence 0.71.
- Result: MIA covers by 4. The minority hit is the entire story of the board.
- Can I change my slip?
- No. Sealed means sealed. That's the whole product.
- Can I see who else is on the board?
- Only after reveal. Before that you know it exists and nothing else.
- What if I miss the clock?
- You're out. Late slips don't count and don't get displayed.
- Seal before you talk.
- The clock is neutral.
- Every slip is attributable at reveal.
- No pick is a pick — you're out of the board.
- Minority hits weigh more than crowd wins.
